What are Thousand Gold pieces made from?

It depends on the collection. Ling and Pei pieces are sterling silver with 14k gold plating. Chien, Wen, and Victoria pieces are stainless steel with 14k gold plating. Many are also set with natural jade, freshwater pearls, or semi-precious stones like aventurine and chalcedony.

How do I care for my jewellery?

Keep it dry — remove it before showering, swimming, or applying perfume and lotion, as moisture and chemicals dull the plating over time. Store pieces separately in a soft pouch to avoid scratching, and wipe gently with a soft cloth after wearing. Earring posts are made from soft precious metal and may arrive slightly bent from transit — this is normal, not damage; a gentle push realigns them.

Who is Thousand Gold, and what does "Yù" mean?

Thousand Gold is a jewellery line inspired by sisterhood — each collection is named for and tells the story of one of the women in our family. "Yù" (玉) means jade in Chinese, chosen for the stone's meaning of resilience and grace passed down through generations.
