Our big family trip to GALA Yuzawa was a rollercoaster. My sister had gone on far more snowboarding trips than I had, while I was caught up in my startup journey. Mom and Chien headed to Niigata and got stuck an extra day due to a snowstorm, while Pei, her husband Andrew, and I stayed in Yuzawa. I couldn’t handle the -20°C cold, but my sister played till lights out and only stars lit the dark blue sky. Her passion was truly admirable.
